As our four wonderful girls continue to grow, we find our house getting smaller and smaller.  We are considering three options:  buy a house in Decatur, tear down our duplex and build on the lot, or renovate our current home.  We have pretty much ruled out building on the duplex lot.

Today the option to renovate got a big boost with the results of the Museum School lottery.  Ellie got into their sixth grade class and Ana is first on the waiting list for the fourth grade.

This picture of Ana, her friend, Hana, and the hole they dug together in our backyard has nothing to do with any of this.  Except maybe this will turn out to be the beginning of the excavation of our new basement…
